Common questions

How do I look up a company’s Form 5500?

Search by employer name, plan name or 9-digit EIN. Each result links to the plan’s page and to the filing PDF on the Department of Labor’s EFAST2 system, which includes the schedules and, for large plans, the independent auditor’s report.

Is Form 5500 data public?

Yes. Form 5500 annual reports are public records. The Department of Labor publishes every filing on EFAST2 and releases the structured data as bulk datasets.

What is the difference between this search and EFAST2?

EFAST2 returns raw filings. This search groups plans by employer, shows the key numbers (participants, assets, fees, recordkeeper) and, where extracted, the match formula and vesting from the audit report, each cited to the filing.
